‍Seattle, WA (December 11, 2023): La Union Studio is excited to announce that our team has completed the Port of Seattle Business Accelerator Program in partnership with Business Impact Northwest. This program is a comprehensive ten-week business development initiative tailored for women and minority-owned small businesses, along with small enterprises in South King County. In addition, this program provides mentorship, networking opportunities and necessary skills to grow businesses and take steps towards partnering with the Port of Seattle and other agencies and primes. 

The graduation ceremony for the third annual Port of Seattle Business Accelerator Program took place on November 30, 2023 and the Co-Founders of La Union Studio, Sonia-Lynn Abenojar and Sergio Legon-Talamoni were on hand for the event.

“Empowerment is our mission,” said Legon-Talamoni who is also the firm’s Director of Design & Culture. “We are honored to be part of this elite program and we are pumped to share and deploy the wisdom gained on this adventure. Get ready to ride the wave with us as we continue shaping the business landscape in our community”. 

The Port of Seattle consists of the city’s Seaport in addition to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The Port has a significant impact on Seattle and surrounding areas as one of the largest  employers in the Pacific Northwest.
